Platform and hosting
- Shopify Inc. — our e-commerce platform; processes orders, stores customer data, and handles checkout
Payment processing
- Shopify Payments and PayPal — processes credit card and alternative payments; full card details are handled directly by the processor, not stored by RARA
Shipping and fulfillment
- Our third-party fulfillment partners (3PLs), located in the United States, which receive your name, address, and order contents to pack and ship your order
- Shipping carriers, including UPS, FedEx, USPS, and others, which receive delivery address and contact information
Email marketing
- Our email marketing platform (which may include Klaviyo, Shopify Email, Mailchimp, or a similar service) — processes your email address, name, and engagement data to send you communications you have consented to receive. The current platform is listed in the footer of our marketing emails.
Advertising and analytics
We use the following advertising and analytics services. Each places cookies or similar technologies on your device and may collect information about your visit to our site:
- Google Analytics 4 — measures site traffic and user behavior. Google's privacy policy. You can opt out via the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
- Google Ads — serves and measures advertising on Google properties. Opt out at Google Ad Settings.
- Meta Pixel (Facebook and Instagram) — serves and measures advertising on Meta platforms. Meta's privacy policy. Opt out via your Meta ad settings.
- TikTok Pixel — serves and measures advertising on TikTok. TikTok's privacy policy. Opt out via your TikTok ad settings.
- Pinterest Tag — serves and measures advertising on Pinterest. Pinterest's privacy policy. Opt out via your Pinterest privacy settings.
Other service providers
We may also share personal information with providers of customer reviews, subscription management, pre-order management, customer service, fraud prevention, and similar services we use to operate the business. We do not sell personal information for money. Some sharing with advertising partners may be considered "sharing" or "selling" under certain state laws — see "Your rights" below for how to opt out.

How to exercise your rights
To exercise any of the rights above, email us at support@getrara.com with:
- Your name and the email address associated with your account or orders
- The specific right you are exercising
- Enough information for us to verify your identity — we may ask follow-up questions to confirm
We will respond within 45 days for most requests, with the possibility of one 45-day extension for complex requests. There is no charge to exercise these rights, and we will not discriminate against you for doing so.
You may authorize an agent to submit a request on your behalf. We may require written proof of the agent's authorization and verification of your own identity.
Opting out of marketing and tracking
- Email marketing: click the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any marketing email, or email support@getrara.com
- Targeted advertising cookies: use the cookie banner on our site, or the opt-out tools linked above for each advertising platform
- Global Privacy Control (GPC): we recognize and honor Global Privacy Control browser signals as an opt-out of sale or sharing of personal information, where applicable under state law
- "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information": California and certain other state residents can use this link to opt out. Alternatively, email support@getrara.com with the subject "Do Not Sell or Share."
Sensitive personal information
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information such as government identifiers, precise geolocation, health or medical information, race or ethnicity, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, or biometric data. If any such information is provided to us voluntarily (for example, in a customer service message), we use it only for the purpose it was provided and retain it only as long as necessary.
Children's privacy
Our website and products are intended for adults (18 years of age or older). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), or from children under 16 in states that extend additional protections (including California). - Order and transaction records: at least 7 years, to comply with tax and accounting laws
- Account information: until you delete your account or request deletion
- Marketing preferences: until you unsubscribe, plus a reasonable period to honor your opt-out
- Customer service records: up to 3 years
- Cookies and analytics data: varies by tool; generally 14 to 26 months
Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, and vendor due diligence. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
International visitors
RARA is a U.S. business and ships only within the United States. If you visit our website from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, which may have different data protection laws than your country.
